๐Why Do I Keep Dreaming About Babies?
They keep appearing. Different dreams, same theme. Babies everywhere โ being held, being lost, being found, being born. Your unconscious is stuck on this symbol for a reason.
If you want children in real life, the dreams may simply reflect that desire. Your conscious mind thinks about it during the day and your unconscious continues the conversation at night.
If children are not on your mind, the recurring babies represent something else entirely. A part of your life that keeps needing attention. A creative impulse that keeps knocking on the door. A responsibility that keeps finding you no matter how many times you set it down.
Notice how the babies change between dreams. Are they getting bigger? The thing they represent is growing. Are they always newborns? The issue is stuck in its earliest stage โ unable to develop past the beginning.
Are you always the caretaker? You may be over-functioning โ caring for everyone else's needs while your own go unmet. The babies keep appearing because the pattern of self-sacrifice keeps repeating.
Are the babies always in danger? Something vulnerable in your life is chronically threatened. The danger does not resolve between dreams because the real-life threat has not been addressed.
The babies will stop appearing when you give the real thing โ the project, the dream, the part of yourself โ the attention it is asking for. Feed it. Protect it. Let it grow. Then the dreams will shift from babies to something new.
