๐จDream About a Tornado Warning or Siren
The siren sounded. The sky darkened. The warning was clear โ take shelter. Something is coming.
A tornado warning without a visible tornado is pure anticipatory anxiety. The threat exists but has not materialized. You know it is out there โ forming, building, approaching โ but you cannot see it yet.
If you took shelter immediately, your survival instincts are healthy. When danger approaches, you act. You do not wait to see if the warning is real. You prepare.
If you ignored the warning, you are dismissing signals in your waking life. Something is telling you to prepare โ a gut feeling, advice from a friend, obvious signs โ and you are choosing not to respond.
If the siren would not stop, the warning has become its own form of torture. The anxiety about what MIGHT happen is as destructive as the thing itself. Your unconscious is showing you that living in constant anticipation of disaster is its own kind of storm.
If the tornado never came after the warning, the threat you feared was either exaggerated or has not arrived yet. Not every warning results in a storm. Sometimes the atmosphere settles and the danger passes without impact.
A warning is a gift. It means you have time. Your unconscious is not trying to scare you โ it is trying to prepare you. Use the warning wisely.
