๐งฏDream About Putting Out a Fire
You were fighting the fire. With water, with a blanket, with your hands. Trying to stop the burning. Trying to restore order.
Putting out a fire is about control โ the effort to contain something intense before it destroys more than it already has.
If you succeeded, the crisis is manageable. The fire is real but your resources and your will are enough to contain it. The situation will be controlled.
If you failed, the intensity is beyond your current ability to manage. Not because you are weak โ because the fire is too strong. You may need help, different tools, or a different approach entirely.
If the fire kept reigniting, the source has not been addressed. You put out the flames but the embers remain. Until you find and extinguish the source, the fire will keep coming back.
If you used water, you are fighting intensity with emotion. Tears, compassion, empathy โ the emotional response to the crisis. Water on fire is the most natural extinguisher.
If you used your bare hands, you are willing to be burned in order to stop the burning. The sacrifice is personal and painful. Your unconscious is honoring the courage even as it documents the cost.
If others helped you, you have support. The fire is not yours to fight alone. People are showing up with their own buckets.
Putting out a fire is noble. But your unconscious also wants you to ask: should this fire be put out, or does something need to burn?
