๐Dream About Playing With Fire
You were not running from the fire. You were playing with it. Touching it. Testing it. Seeing how close you could get without getting burned.
Playing with fire is conscious risk-taking. You know the danger. You know what could happen. And you are doing it anyway โ because the thrill is worth the risk. Or because you believe you can control it.
If the play felt exciting, the risk in your waking life feels alive. You are testing boundaries, pushing limits, doing something that makes your heart race. The danger is real but so is the aliveness.
If you got burned, the risk caught up to you. The thing you were playing with was exactly as dangerous as you knew it was. The burn is the consequence you accepted when you reached toward the flame.
If you did not get burned, you got away with it โ this time. Your unconscious is documenting a near-miss. The fire did not burn you today. That does not mean it will not burn you tomorrow.
If a child was playing with fire, innocence and danger are combined. Something vulnerable โ a part of you that does not understand consequences โ is engaging with something that could destroy it.
Playing with fire is a choice. Your unconscious is not telling you to stop โ it is making sure you understand what you are holding. The fire does not care about your confidence. It will burn you the moment you forget to respect it.
