๐บDream About Being a Passenger in a Car
You were not driving. You were being driven. The road was unfolding in front of you but the wheel was in someone else's hands.
Being a passenger is about surrender โ voluntary or forced. Your unconscious is showing you an area of your life where the direction is not yours.
If you were comfortable, you trust whoever is in control. You have deliberately chosen to let someone else lead โ a mentor, a partner, an institution โ and you feel safe with that choice. Not every journey requires you behind the wheel.
If you were anxious, the person driving is making choices you do not agree with. You can see the road. You know the turns. But you cannot reach the wheel. The anxiety is the gap between what you see and what you can control.
If the driver was speeding, the pace of your life is being set by someone else and it is too fast. You want to slow down but the accelerator is not yours to control.
If you were in the back seat, you are even further removed from control. Front passenger has some influence โ you can point, comment, even grab the wheel in an emergency. Back seat has none. You are being taken somewhere and your input is not part of the equation.
The question your unconscious is asking: are you a willing passenger or a captive one? There is a difference between choosing to trust someone with your journey and having no choice.
