โDream About Marrying the Wrong Person
The ceremony was happening. You were going through with it. But the person standing next to you was wrong. A stranger. An ex. Someone you dislike. Someone who should not be there.
Marrying the wrong person is your unconscious showing you a commitment misalignment. You are attaching yourself to something โ a job, a lifestyle, a relationship, a belief โ that does not match who you actually are.
If the person was your ex, you are repeating an old pattern. Going back to what is familiar instead of what is right.
If the person was a stranger, the thing you are committing to is unknown. You do not fully understand what you are getting into. The "wrong" feeling comes from insufficient knowledge.
If you knew the person was wrong but went through with it anyway, you are aware of the misalignment and proceeding despite it. Social pressure. Sunk cost. Fear of starting over. Something is overriding your instincts.
If you tried to stop the wedding but could not, you want to back out but feel unable to. The commitment machine is in motion and you feel powerless to stop it.
If you ran, you still have the ability to choose. The most dramatic exit possible โ but also the most authentic. Walking away from the wrong commitment is not failure. It is honesty delivered at the last possible moment.
